A conceptual movie poster reimagining F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel, The Great Gatsby, as a Netflix Original film. Through modern digital illustration techniques, this piece visualizes the human obsession and the hollow American Dream hidden beneath the glittering glamour of the 1920s Jazz Age.

Colour Palette

The palette is anchored in deep Midnight Navy and Rich Black to evoke the mystery and tragedy of the narrative. Antique Gold pays homage to the opulent Art Deco era, while the Electric Lime accent symbolizes the iconic 'green light'—representing Gatsby’s lingering obsession and elusive hope.

Typography

To bridge the gap between 1920s nostalgia and modern cinematic trends, I paired the decorative elegance of VIFELLIA with the geometric stability of Montserrat. VIFELLIA captures the ornate Art Deco spirit of the Jazz Age, while Montserrat provides a sleek, contemporary finish that aligns with the project’s Netflix Original concept.
